Hello, I have a 67 saab 9-6 that I am in the process of restoring. Or should I say tring to locate parts. I have it pretty much torn down. I would be interested in looking at your car close up some time. I saw it at the Allen in Anville. But did not get to talk to you.

Hi there guys,
A great website, truly inspirational stuff. I‘ve enjoyed watching the documented journey of the Saab and Miata and excited by the Taxi cab transformation (being a lad from London, England).
I hope to one day convert my own car to electric. Keep up the great work.
Daniel (living in Ottawa, Canada)

Surfing the web in advance of converting either a 62'volvo or a 95 subaru legacy... ran across evtv..and your taxi project. GOOD ON YOU! I'm on a learning curve, particularly the engine/flywheel/ trans connection and "The controller". Hope your videos will be instructive. Expensive components...geese!
The distance thing with batteries...Has anyone designed a light weight trailer(Battery back pack) to extend range? Given we are looking at hiway , low torque, travel? Seems it might be something U-Haul dealers might enter into.
Anyway, you have my admiration & attention as you get to work, Tom

Short commute to work and generally wishing to be off the gasoline routine. Have been a fan of Electric cars and, providing they are safe, would like to know more. I sent an email through another part of theis wedsite but had an issue with the coded section.
Thanks for your efforts.

I am from intercourse and would love to have a small pick up truck run on electric. I only drive 3.4 miles to work. I never drive more than 20 miles per day. Keep up the fight. It would be great to be in the fight because I love to work on cars like my 72 chevy truck which is almost done being restored mostly by me. Call my cell if interested 717 333 7979

I love the idea of electric cars. No more exhaust pollution! We have the technology to stop CO2 emission so let's do it now instead of waiting for technology to get better.

When I rode in the Saab 96, I was intrigued by the seat belts, as they were identical to some I had as a kid riding in my parents' cars. Of course, I was most amazed at the quiet and smooth ride and beautiful vehicle condition. I know electric cars will be a big part of our transportation future ... it's just a question of how fast we adopt it (I'm driving one now). With Brandon at the wheel, it's sure to go a lot faster - good luck with the EVTV contest!

I believe that the plug in Hybrid is the way of the future. If we can get 50 miles to a charge, and be able to have a tank to keep it going longer than we have something that can go without oil 90% of the miles. The plug in hybrid I envision will be very similar to an EV it just will have a gas (or diesel) generator to allow the vehicle to run beyond battery. I am sure it isnt that difficult and does it really cost that much more to make an EV?

Enjoying learning about your venture. I have ALWAYS had an interest in electric conversions since watching our world change back in 73 as a small boy with the first "gas shortage".
I found your story interesting as I am also a musician and car enthusiast.

Website Brandon, I really respect what you do and I think you do a great job. Keep up the inspiring work!
Gregory Amos I was drooling over Brandon's Saab one day in downtown Lancaster. I love old cars and his pristine 1968 called me over. Brandon happened to be returning to the car and gave me a handkerchief before I completely embarrassed myself. We spoke and he told me about the electric conversion. I consider myself a wrench to a certain extent, though motorcycles are my forte over cars. I consider myself, minimally, attuned to social causes. I checked out his website. I checked out the documentary "Who Killed The Electric Car." The idea of doing my own conversion took hold of me. Now I think I've found a car, a 1957 Renault Dauphine (equally on par with a classic Saab in terms of cool - and drool - points). All I can say is, I'm off.
